Author Nathan Munday discusses his new book ‘Seven Days’ with Eric Gower and talks about his experiences on the trek, how he came to write the book and how it links in with his own Christian faith.
William Blake once said that great things are done when men and mountains meet. I say that greater things happen when somebody stays in the mountains for seven days or more. New worlds are formed, dreams merge with reality; those things which are impossible, or that you wouldn’t dream of doing, become possible in these higher places. I looked at Dad and wondered how his seven days compared to mine. Maybe, like Moses, he had seen the burning bush and spied on angels conversing on the cols. I had no right to intrude. We sat there in silence as words became more and more unnecessary.Nathan Munday
