St Edmund’s Church Logo
The swirling circles can be taken as representing the world with a sense of order that has been broken. The cross is drawn in an informal style giving an echo of of a cross of rough hewn wood rather than a smooth, attractive piece of woodwork. The St Edmund’s symbol is based on a plaque that is near the saint’s window in church. As a whole the symbol combines the church’s dedication with a reminder of our Gospel responsibility to God’s world.
